Carronyaire / Crocotta

Carronyaire són criatures que poden imitar la veu de qualsevol persona per atreure a les seves víctimes  perquè puguin alimentar-se.

Crocottas are creatures that can mimic any person's voice to lure their victims out so they can feed.

Característiques / Characteristics
Es descriu comunament en la llegenda que atreuen a la gent trucant al seu nom, atraient-los més al bosc fins que el consumirà. Un Carronyaire li va explicar a n'en Sam la forma en què es veuen obligats a esperar durant dies, i fins i tot llavors, les persones sàvies als trucs d'aquest tipus, i va tenir la sort de tenir dues ànimes l'any. En l'era moderna, almenys, un Carroyaire ha evolucionat per posar-se en contacte amb la gent per telèfon o ordinador. Poden imitar la veu d'un ésser estimat, i tracta de convèncer a la seva víctima per cometre suïcidi o acudir-hi, pel que poden matar-los, perquè es pugui empassar l'ànima de la víctima. 
El Carronyaire també viu en la immundícia, i són famosos per dir "vine a mi", tant és així que de vegades es reconeixen, simplement a partir d'aquesta línia.

It is commonly described in legend as luring people by calling their name, drawing them deeper into the forest until it can devour them. One Crocotta, noted this while bragging, stating how it was usually forced to wait for days, and even then, people were wise to its kind's tricks, and he was lucky to get two souls a year. In the modern age, at least one Crocotta has evolved to contact people by phone or computer. They can imitate the voice of a loved one, and tries to convince its victim to commit suicide or come to them, so it could kill them, so that it can swallow the victim's soul.
Crocotta also live in filth, and they are renowned for saying "come to me", so much so they are sometimes recognized simply from this line.

Aparença / Appearance
L'aspecte real del Carronyaire és desconegut. Pot aparèixer humà, però quan s'alimenta, es trasbalsa la seva mandíbula i les dents grans i esmolades són visibles.

The true appearance of the crocotta is unknown. It can appear human but when it feeds, it unhinges its jaw and its large, sharp teeth are visible.

Poders i Habilitats / Powers and Abilities

•  Devorar ànimes - El Carronyaire pot buidar l'ànima de qualsevol ésser humà que maten o fan una altra matança. 
• Imitació de veu - Es pot imitar la veu de qualsevol persona, però han d'haver sentit la seva veu per primera vegada. Crocottas són increïblement hàbil en això, capaç de captar els gestos d'una persona fins al punt que fins i tot les persones molt a prop de la persona que està imitant no ser capaç de distingir la Crocotta de la persona rea 
• Shapeshifting - Com moltes criatures sobrenaturals, Crocottas pot prendre forma humana. 
• Súper força - Es té una resistència superior als humans, però no per molt. 
• Súper Velocitat - Tenen una velocitat superior als humans, capaç d'aparèixer de sobte del no res. 
• Durada estensa - que tenen una vida més llarga que els éssers humans, capaços de viure durant segles. 
• Electrokinesis - Crocottas pot manipular la tecnologia, com ordinadors i telèfons. Ells poden fer trucades de telèfon, tallar en ells, manipular pantalles d'ordinador, i fins i tot pot fer que els telèfons de joguina rebre trucades. Per a això semblen requerir a tocar una connexió amb el que ells estan manipulant.

• Soul Devouring - Crocottas can drain the soul of any human they kill, or make another kill.
• Voice Mimicry - They can imitate the voice of any person, but they have to have heard their voice first. Crocottas are incredibly skilled at this, able to pick up a person's mannerisms to the extent that even people very close to the person they're imitating will not be able to distinguish the Crocotta from the actual person.
• Shapeshifting - Like many supernatural creatures, Crocottas can take human form.
• Super strength - They have superior strength to humans, but not by much.
• Super speed - They have superior speed to humans, able to suddenly appear out of nowhere.
• Extended Lifespan - They have a longer life span than humans, able to live for centuries.
• Electrokinesis - Crocottas can manipulate technology, such as computers and phones. They can make phone calls, hack into them, manipulate computer screens, and can even make toy phones receive calls. To do this they seem to require to touch a connection to what they are manipulating.
