Rugaru

Rugarus són humanoides carnívors que s'alimenten de "porc llarg" (carn humana).

Característiques
Rugarus neixen i viuen com a éssers humans per a tots els efectes, en general no estar al tant de la seva condició, però a una certa edat que de sobte començar a anhelar grans quantitats d'aliments. Aquesta condició no és un virus, sinó que es transmet genèticament. Una persona que té aquest gen finalment cedir a la temptació de menjar i devorar a un ésser humà. El canvi comença amb un augment de la fam de tots els aliments, però ràpidament es transforma en un poderós desig de carn, específicament humà. El canvi en si és molt ràpid, que es produeixen a pocs minuts del primer mosegada del Rugaru de la carn humana. Una vegada que el Rugaru cedeix al seu desig d'alimentar d'un ésser humà, no hi ha marxa enrere, el Rugaru perdrà el seu aspecte humà i el canvi en un monstre.
Encara que es creu per alguns que una persona amb aquest gen pot superar la seva maledicció, no se sap que han tingut èxit en això. Pel que sembla, el canvi final es pot evitar sempre que el Rugaru resisteix a menjar carn humana. Per desgràcia, l'impuls és molt fort i és pràcticament impossible d'ignorar.
Poders i habilitats

• Fam - Rugarus pateixen amb la necessitat de alimentar-se de carn humana.
• Especial d'alta resistència - Rugarus són més forts que els humans i la majoria dels monstres, es pot ajustar fàcilment els ossos o trencar les cadenes d'acer.
• Súper Velocitat - La velocitat del Rugaru és una necessitat, el que li permet aguaitar i capturar les seves preses.
• Súper resistència - Rugarus no es cansen i no renunciar a la seva presa, però, requereixen de substàncies.
• Invulnerabilitat - No pot ser mort per armes normals. El foc és l'única arma que pot perjudicar-los.
• Súper sentits - Rugarus tenen olor increïble i la vista, un era capaç de captar l'olor agradable d'una jove dona nua de molt lluny.

Debilitat

• Foc - Rugarus només pot ser matat pel foc, cremar-los vius.
• Ganivet Demon-matança - Mentre era en es purgatori va ser capaç de matar un Rugaru amb el ganivet per apunyalar per la barbeta i al cervell.

Characteristics


Rugarus are born and live as humans for all intents and purposes, typically being unaware of their condition, but at a certain age they will suddenly begin craving large quantities of food. This condition is not a virus; rather, it is passed down genetically. A person who possesses this gene will eventually give in to the urge to feed and will devour a human. The change starts out with an increased hunger for all food, but quickly transforms into a powerful craving for flesh, specifically human. The change itself is very fast, occurring within minutes of the Rugaru's first bite of human flesh. Once the Rugaru gives in to its desire to feed on a human, there is no going back; the Rugaru will lose its human appearance and change into a monster.
Although it is believed by some that a person with this gene can overcome their curse, no Rugarus are known to have been successful in this. Apparently, the final change can be avoided as long as the Rugaru resists eating human flesh. Unfortunately, the urge is extremely strong and is practically impossible to ignore. 

Powers & Abilities

• Hunger - Rugarus suffer with a unfightable need to feed on human flesh.
• Super strength - Rugarus are stronger than humans and most other monsters, they can easily snap bones or break steel chains.
• Super speed - The Rugaru's speed is a necessity, allowing it to stalk and catch its prey.
• Super stamina - Rugarus never tire and don't give up on their prey, however they do require substance.
• Invulnerability - Can't be killed by normal weapons. Fire is the only weapon that can harm them.
• Super senses - Rugarus have incredible smell and sight, one was able to catch the pleasant odor of a young woman undressing from far away.

Weakness

• Fire - Rugarus can only be killed by fire. The hunters need to burn them alive.
• Demon-killing knife - While in Purgatory, Dean was able to kill a Rugaru with the knife by stabbing him through the chin and into his brain.
